Kaitlin Graiff

Regional Specialist: CA

Kaitlin grew up in a small Connecticut town surrounded by woods and a lake, which gave her endless opportunities for nature-based exploration. She later moved west to pursue her career in marine science and now calls Santa Cruz, California home. In 2019, Kaitlin discovered mountain biking and quickly realized how awesome it is! She can ride straight from her house to incredible Santa Cruz singletrack, whether near the ocean or through the redwoods—total win. She worked with her son from a young age to build his mountain biking skills and confidence, which was an incredibly positive experience for them. That journey inspired her to become a mentor with Little Bellas to continue helping kids have fun and feel empowered on and off the trails. Kaitlin is thrilled to be part of the team and to support the mission of Little Bellas as the California Regional Specialist.

If you had a superpower, what would it be? Flying!

Favorite ride snack? Welch’s fruit gummies

Favorite food? All Mexican food

What is your favorite Little Bellas experience? Hearing a girl shout “I did it!” when
they tackle a difficult obstacle on the trail.

What is a fun fact that people don't know about you? I have worked on numerous
projects studying the deep ocean seafloor, which have resulted in the discovery of new
species of deep-sea corals and sponges. I also grow Dahlias – it’s addictive!
