Martha Flynn

Regional Specialist | St Paul, MN Program Lead

Martha resides in St Paul and lives exactly 1 mile from where she grew up.  She’s a fixture in the Minnesota biking community, so if you’ve done a race or event related to mountain biking, you’ve probably seen her there.  So say “Hi!” if you see her at one, she’d appreciate it.  Besides organizing and helping run the events, she also dabbles in the races, entering both mountain bike races in the summer and fat bike races in the winter (Minnesota, so much winter).  She sees riding/racing in -15 degrees weather with a -30 windchill as a way to push herself and her limits.  Sweet.  Martha simply loves being on her bike and sharing this love with as many people as possible, especially young girls. An encouraging, “Wooo-hooo!” is always at the ready when she sees young ladies riding and having fun.  This amazing attitude and drive to continually do what she loves, be it riding, racing, singing, or dancing even if she says she’s not the best at it, makes her perfect for the Little Bellas team.  As Martha puts it, “Just because you aren’t the most skilled at it doesn’t mean you can’t do what you love!” Read More…

Rachel Ciancola

Director of Operations

Rachel grew up in Connecticut in a small town outside of New Haven (yes, the city with the absolute best Pizza, y’all can debate it later). Since a young age she has loved being outside in the woods. Nature is and has always been her playground – which led her to hiking and backpacking as a teen, and then graduating college with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Before Little Bellas, Rachel worked in technical operations for a cycling vacation company which helped her discover her love for two wheels. Rachel is psyched to learn, try new things, and discover new hobbies. Most days you can find her either hiking, biking, or doing pilates followed by dancing to some live music. She is always planning around food, so if you’re with her, you’ll for sure hear about what’s for dinner (or snack, or lunch, or apres). She’s also got a pretty cool mutt named Duke, also affectionately known in her house as “Stinker”. Read More…
