How many years have you been with Little Bellas?
Around 15 years, I believe. I first connected with the program as the mom of a rider, then as an ad hoc volunteer and in 2026 I joined the Board!
Why Little Bellas?
I’ve seen firsthand the impact Little Bellas makes for girls, particularly the important role the program plays in fostering strength, confidence and comfort with risk taking. That foundation is essential in helping girls become their full amazing selves.
If you had a Board Super Power, what would it be?
Turning strangers into friends and superfans and donors!
Favorite Ride Snack?
A post-ride maple creemee or glazed cashews
Tell us about your riding and how you got involved in the sport?
I learned to mountain bike in the Adirondacks where I could ride out my back door. The sport was young though and there weren’t many women to bike with and the trail network wasn’t yet well developed. I picked mountain biking up again when my daughter got involved in Little Bellas and fell in love all over again.
A fun fact about you?
I am an avid wild ice skater and recently launched Sk802, an ice skating club with two friends who are equally passionate about the sport. This winter I was able to skate across Lake Champlain shore to shore.
